On Thursday January 14th 2010 when we came back after the Christmas holidays, the Hearing Impaired Unit went to Stratford Theatre to a performance of ‘Aladdin’.

Staff who accompanied the party agreed that it was an enjoyable production, all the pupils behaved very well, overall it was a very successful trip.
Both staff and students were amused by a certain Widow Twanki, who they said was funny and had a very funny laugh! They gave some feedback about the performance.
- Warren Digance in Year 11 said that “I liked the adult humour, especially Widow Twankiâ€.
- Uygar Saphaz in Year 10 “I liked Widow Twanki, the way she talked and her funny laugh’.
- Anna Scott Year 9 “I liked the part in the mummy’s tomb, I also liked when Aladdin turned in a Princeâ€.
- Tendai Mazura Year 8 thought that “It was funny when Aladdin got smacked by Widow Twanki. It was the best show I have ever seen, and I especially like the funny handshake between Aladdin and his friendâ€.
- Hamas Mahmood in Year 8 said “I enjoyed it, as it was very exciting. My favourite character was Aladdin, because he was funnyâ€.
- Charlotte Webb in Year 7 “My favourite character was Widow Twanki because she had a really funny laugh. I managed to catch a packet of sweets which Aladdin had thrown into the audienceâ€.
