Heathcote School have been officially welcomed into the London 2012’s Get Set network in recognition of our commitment to the Olympic and Paralympic Values. These values have been embedded into school work and projects and include friendship, respect, excellence, determination, courage, equality and inspiration. 
The London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) awarded Heathcote School its plaque and certificate to acknowledge our involvement in the London 2012 education programme. Heathcote now joins schools and colleges across the UK as members of the special London 2012 community – the Get Set network – and we will receive access to exclusive competitions and 2012 Games related opportunities over the coming years.
Due to the school’s commitment to promoting London 2012 and all the Olympic projects completed by Heathcote's students, the school now has the right to use the London 2012 education logo on our headed paper, website and school sign.
