Home School Agreement

STUDENTS

To help me do well, I will do my best to

1. Not miss school and be on time.
2. Work hard and believe that I can do well.
3. Ask for help from a teacher or someone at home
if I don’t understand my work.
4. Do my homework and catch up with work that I
miss.
5. Keep the school rules, behave well and be polite
and helpful to others.
6. Talk at home about what I learn at school.
7. Wear school dress and be tidy in my appearance.
8. Have a bag, the correct equipment and clothing
for lessons.
9. Take part in the school’s clubs and visits.
10. Not swear or use abuse language. Be respectful
of others abilities/disabilities. Not be racist,
sexist, homophobic.
11. Respect the school and local community
environment and not drop litter or write graffiti.
12. Walk sensibly on the left, inside the building.
13. Pass on letters and information to my parents.
14. Behave well on the way to and from school.


PARENTS/CARERS (Person with Parental Responsibility)

To help my child I will do my best to:

1. Make sure that my child attends school regularly and on time.
2. Encourage my child to work hard and make the
most of his/her opportunities.
3. Contact the school on the morning of any
absence and provide the school with a note
explaining this absence.
4. Provide a quiet working space for my child to do homework every night and check that this
homework is completed regularly.
5. Work with the school to make sure that my child behaves properly and follows school rules.
6. Support the school if it becomes necessary to
discipline my child.
7. Attend meetings with teachers to discuss my
child’s progress and achievements.
8. See that my child wears school dress and is
properly prepared and equipped for school each
day.
9. Let the school know if there are any problems
that my affect my child’s ability to learn.
10. Encourage my child to join the school’s clubs
and visits.
