This year the theme for NSEW was "What on Earth?" We had many activities running this year in Science, from growing crystals to obtaining salt from rock salt, a year 8 trip to Suntrap, and many post-doctoral students from Imperial College demonstrating with chemicals such as liquid nitrogen! The theme was linked across the curriculum. 
In Art, students sketched aerial views of their house, in Music, students looked at music from around the world, and in English, they wrote letters to argue for or against animal testing around the world. All subjects also ran a competition for the students to submit a piece of work to recieve housepoints and a prize for each year.
