SAFER INTERNET DAY
Parents and teachers are today being encouraged to help change children’s online behaviour to mark EU Safer Internet Day 2011.
This year’s focus is ‘our virtual lives’ with the tagline ‘it’s more than a game … it’s your life’. The aim of Safer Internet Day 2011 is to encourage young people to consider their safety when social networking and gaming online. To mark the EU Safer Internet Day 2011 Heathcote students will be 
shown a film called ‘Exposed’ during assemblies. ‘Exposed’ is an awareness raising film that deals with the issues of sexting and cyberbullying.
