Transmission of HIV and a general awareness of HIV and the situation around the world.
An interesting fact: Currently there are more than 85 000 people in the UK living with HIV and a quarter of them have not been diagnosed.
HIV cannot be transmitted by using the same cutlery and utensils; or using the same toilet; or hugging someone who is HIV positive.
It can be transmitted by using the same needles as that of an infected person during illegal drug use; unprotected sexual contact with an infected person; and from mother to child during pregnancy and at childbirth.
