Another Good Batch Of Results For Our Sixth Form Pupils!

Heathcote School pupils celebrated A Levels and BTEC results today with many taking up places at the country’s most prestigious universities - or exciting apprenticeships with outstanding employers. Pupils were delighted and relieved. Emma Hillman, Headteacher, said: ‘This positive set of results comes at the end of a very tough journey for our pupils and we are delighted that they have shown such resilience and commitment. It was wonderful to celebrate with pupils this morning and know that they are following such exciting pathways.’

Sophie Washbrook said “I am relieved and happy with my results and grateful for the support that I have had at Heathcote.” Paulo Lourenco thought “I am so happy that I have the grades I worked for and got into the university of my choice.”

71% of all entries were graded A*-C and 50% A*-B. More superb English results were gained, with all pupils receiving A*/A in English Language and all A*-C in English Literature, and all Art pupils also received A*-C.

 BTEC results in Business and Sport celebrated a 100% pass rate with 85% being awarded Distinction*/Distinction.
