We had the pleasure of hosting a fascinating Conference for A-level Sociology students from local schools in March. Sociology Teacher and EPQ Co-ordinator Mr Angeletos writes...

The Sociology department at Heathcote School led and organised a successful A Level Sociology Exam Conference with senior examiner Keith Trobe on the 14th of March. Over sixty-five Year 13 students attended, including staff and students from three local Waltham Forest Schools. All commented very positively on the exam conference and our school overall.

Mr Angeletos said “The students benefited enormously from the exam conference. It was a great experience, with the examiner offering them specific exam techniques and strategies to use so they can achieve high grades in their summer examinations. In addition, the examiner focused on how to deconstruct exam questions and gain maximum marks for all the questions presented."
